Whiskey was found as a stray by our local Animal Services with her two kittens Dean and Brody. Whiskey is a very sweet girl, and we are thrilled she now gets to live a very loved life with her new family
“My partner and I had the best experience adopting with Salty. They were always available to speak about our cat whiskey and very accommodating. You can really feel the love they have for their animals. If and when we adopt again in the future we will 100% be working with Salty again.”

Sloan was taken from a very poor situation. She had been moved from one shelter to another in hopes of her being adopted. We decided to pull Sloan and place her with an amazing foster that would be able to help her build the confidence she needed in order to be successful. Sloan now lives the best life, enjoying lots of hikes with her new mom and shepherd sister!
“Kate and Karly from Salty Animal Rescue are fantastic!!! I adopted Sloan, now Jade, a female German Shepherd from them recently. They were quick to reply to messages and answer questions, they are professional, efficient and totally care about finding the animal the perfect family. I would definitely recommend and use them again.”

Pekoe and his brothers were found by our local animal services. They were fighting an infection and in fairly rough shape when they came to us. Pekoe now lives an amazing life where he can play fetch and steal all the kleenex from his owners trash cans. We always love seeing the hilarious videos of him. He’s flourished so much in his home, its heartwarming to see.
“Kate and Karly from Salty Animal Rescue have been wonderful to work with! We adopted our little kitten Pekoe from them in December. The adoption process was thorough but also easy for us with an extensive online form and a phone interview. Their response time to emails and messages have also been timely and helpful. Kate and Karly genuinely care about their rescues and follows up with them after adoption. Hoping to see more great things from them and would highly recommend! Thank you for everything that you do for these animals!”
